1. 1 labeled diagram containing 11 words for things like house, family, tree, sun, window and roof.
2. 1 diagram for students to complete with the eleven words.
3. 1 diagram for students to complete that also contains an English/Spanish word bank for student reference.
This bundle contains a crossword, a word search, and a manipulative matching squares puzzle. Sample words are: arriver, jouer, chanter, porter, travailler, demander, nager, écouter, danser, and manger. For the crossword and word search, students are instructed to:
1. Write the French/English translation next to each clue.

Your students will be singing this song (and maybe even dancing along!) in your classroom, in the halls, in the cafeteria, on buses, etc. This original song is 2 verses long and includes all French subject pronouns sung to a catchy, well known tune. Your students will learn and remember the French subject pronouns FOREVER!

French ER Verb Infinitives 4 x 4 Matching Squares Puzzle - Students assemble a 4 x 4 French/English vocabulary puzzle with 25 different infinitives. Sample verbs are:
aimer, chanter, commencer, donner, fermer, manger, penser, regarder, travailler, and voler.
Several words are repeated which makes the puzzle more challenging. Just photocopy enough for a class set (1 for every 2 students if working in pairs, or 1 per student if working alone), cut and fasten with a paper clip. Distribute to students and challenge them to reassemble the puzzles as quickly as possible. There is a list of all words alongside the puzzle in French and English. This can be used as a vocabulary bookmark and reference.

This is a 2-person, 10 line skit between 2 friends making the decision to get food. They mention their hunger and thirst and decide to go to one of their favorite restaurants to get paella. Key phrases and vocabulary used include querer + infinitive, tener expressions tengo hambre and tengo sed, ir a infinitve, entonces, vale, pedir, deber + infinitive, and pues.

Students sketch and color a minimum of 10 foods that they will take with them on a picnic. They then write the corresponding French words under the sketched items. This is a great activity for speaking practice because students enjoy presenting their creations to their classmates. It's also a fun activity at the end of the school year as students are thinking about summer activities and vacation, and great for summer school or camp.
There are 3 versions of the basket. Each includes a different spelling of picnic to allow you to choose based on your preference for your region. The 3 are:

Students first cut, assemble, and read the booklet containing text and illustrations of common Valentine's Day items. Included are candy, hearts, love, Cupid, flowers, kisses, chocolates and roses. They then create their own version using the text only template. Students will get in the holiday spirit sketching the Valentine's Day booklets and will enjoy sharing their creations with their classmates and family members!

For the activities in this bundle, each student mingles with a bingo grid and must find different classmates that can reply yes to each of the 16 boxes. When a student replies yes to a question, the questioning student follows up by asking in Spanish for the student's signature. When a student fills the entire grid, he says, "Bingo!"

Class Objects and School -
This activity provides practice asking "do you have" with tener concerning different class objects. A sample statement is, "Tengo un cuaderno verde."
Family -
This activity provides practice asking questions with tener and family vocabulary. Each box contains a statement about a family member. A sample statement is, "A mi padre le gusta jugar al golf."
Ser and Adjectives -
This activity includes soy with 16 different descriptive adjectives of people. Examples of adjectives are: feliz, trabajador, perezoso, inteligente, generoso, consentido, guapo, and atlético. Students will practice 3 forms of ser in the present tense with these activities. Each box contains 2 short statements. Sample statements are, "Soy inteligente. Quiero ser médico en el futuro."
Ser and Family -
This activity uses ser with with personality, appearance, and professions along with various family members. Students will practice 3 forms of each verb with these activities.
A sample statement is, "Mi mamá es maestra en una escuela primaria."
Each of the 4 human bingo activities includes a follow up worksheet that requires students to:
1. Write a sentence for each of the 16 boxes in the grid. The student includes the name of the student that signed the box and must change the verb to the third person.
2. Write an appropriate Spanish vocabulary word under 6 images at the bottom of the paper.

Each student mingles with a bingo grid and must find different classmates that can reply yes to the questions in each of the 16 boxes. Each box contains a question starting with ¿En el futuro...? plus a verb in the future tense. A sample question is: ¿En el futuro, trabajarás con niños? When a student replies yes to a question, the questioning student follows up by asking in Spanish for the student's signature. The goal is to be the first student to fill the entire bingo grid.
Verbs used include:
estudiar, viajar, vivir, ganar, tener, construir, correr, trabajar, plantar, escalar, comprar, aprender, escribir, jugar, tocar, and hacer
Also included is a follow up worksheet that requires students to:
1. Write a sentence for each of the 16 boxes in the grid. The student includes the name of the student that signed the box and must change the verb to the third person.
2. Provide the English meaning of each verb.
3. Write an appropriate Spanish infinitive under 6 images at the bottom of the paper.
This is a great back to school speaking review activity for students with prior Spanish experience.

French Sports Cut and Paste / Game Cards / Flashcards - This resource includes 2 pages of different sports images for students to cut and paste, plus 2 pages of corresponding sport words grid pages onto which students past the images that they cut.
Additional ideas for using these materials:
The grid pages can be projected and students can make quick clothing sketches on the Smart Board. These pages can also be printed and used as a quick sketch quiz.
The clothing pictures can be printed and used for individual flashcards or slap-jack cards. Print 2 or more of each and use the cards for playing memory or "go fish".

This is a set of 24 - 8 1/2 x 11 classroom signs for gustar and irregular yo verbs. Irregular yo verbs included are:
saber, conocer, poner, decir, traer, caer, tener, venir, hacer, salir and oir.
Each has a sign with the Spanish and English meaning, a full conjugation in the present tense and a simple sentence illustrating its use.
Saber and conocer each also have 2 additional signs with sample sentences and there is one sign that has both verbs in Spanish with "to know". There's also a sign with a rhyme to help students remember the different uses of saber and conocer.
There are 6 signs for gustar. Examples are: one with a full conjugation with gusta and a sample sentence, one with a full conjugation with gustan and a sample sentence and one that includes gusta and gustan and clip art illustrating the differences.
Just print in color or on colored paper and you have a colorful, useful student reference for your classroom.
This is also a good presentation to show irregular yo verbs, saber vs conocer or gusta vs gustan.
